Diet
- Avoid hot, spicy, crunchy, or acidic foods today
- Stick to lukewarm soft foods
- Stay hydrated with water
Oral Care
- Brush gently with a soft toothbrush
- Warm salt water rinses 2-3 times daily
- Sensitivity to cold is normal and temporary
- Use sensitivity toothpaste if needed
Recovery
- Gums should feel noticeably better
- Resume normal brushing and flossing
- Schedule your periodontal maintenance visit (usually 3-4 months)
