    What to expect

    Honest note on peptides

    • •Most recovery and performance peptides are not FDA-approved for these uses and are compounded.
    • •That is exactly why they are prescription-only here and sourced from a screened pharmacy. Use only what your physician prescribed.

Peptide Therapy (Recovery & Performance) recovery, day by day

    Day 0 (Start of Therapy)

    Important context before you start

    • Peptides such as BPC-157, CJC-1295, and Ipamorelin are prescribed and supervised by your physician and are typically prepared by a compounding pharmacy.
    • Most peptides used for recovery and performance are not FDA-approved for these uses, which is why physician oversight and a reputable, properly screened pharmacy source matter.
    • Use only the product, dose, and schedule your physician prescribed. Do not buy or add peptides from unverified online sources.

How to store and prepare your peptide

    • Keep your peptide refrigerated. If it came as a powder for reconstitution, add the bacteriostatic water exactly as instructed, swirl gently (do not shake hard), and store the mixed vial in the refrigerator.
    • Do not freeze reconstituted peptide. Discard the mixed vial after the expiration your pharmacy gave you.
    • Always inspect the solution before drawing; it should be clear, not cloudy or discolored.
    Days 1 to 2

    How to inject correctly

    • Most of these peptides are given as a small subcutaneous injection into the fat of the abdomen (about two inches from the navel) or the thigh.
    • Wash your hands, wipe the vial top and the skin with alcohol, draw your exact prescribed dose, pinch the skin, insert at the angle your clinician showed you, inject slowly, and dispose of the needle in a sharps container.
    • Rotate injection sites each time. Follow your prescribed timing (many growth-hormone-secretagogue peptides are dosed at night on an empty stomach).
    Days 3 to 7

    Build a consistent routine

    • Peptide protocols work on consistency, not intensity. Set reminders for your prescribed dosing times and keep your supplies together.
    • Do not double up if you miss a dose; follow your clinician's missed-dose guidance instead.
    • Mild flushing, a brief head-rush, tingling, or a hunger change can occur with some peptides shortly after injection and usually settles within minutes.
    Weeks 2 to 4

What to expect over the cycle

    • Effects build gradually. Recovery and sleep changes are often the first thing patients notice, sometimes within the first 2 to 4 weeks.
    • Body-composition and performance changes take longer and depend on your training, sleep, and nutrition. Peptides are an adjunct to those fundamentals, not a replacement.
    • Complete the cycle as prescribed rather than stopping early because you do not feel an immediate effect.
    Weeks 4 to 12

    Cycle length, breaks, and follow-up

    • Your physician set your cycle length and any planned break; many protocols run in blocks (several weeks on, then a reassessment) rather than continuously.
    • Return for your scheduled follow-up so your clinician can review your response, check any relevant labs, and decide whether to continue, adjust, or pause.
    • Do not extend a cycle on your own.

    Medications you may be given

    Prescribed peptide (per physician)

Use exactly the peptide, dose, route, and schedule on your prescription. Store refrigerated, rotate injection sites, and never adjust the dose or source on your own.

Always follow the exact directions your own provider gives you. This is general information, not a prescription.

When to call your provider or 911

    • •Injection-site redness that spreads or becomes warm, or a lump that grows or becomes painful
    • •Pus or drainage at an injection site, or fever
    • •Hives or a rash
    • •Facial or throat swelling or trouble breathing (stop injecting and seek emergency care)
    • •Persistent numbness or tingling in the hands, or unusual swelling

When in doubt, call your clinic. For a medical emergency, call 911.
