When to call your provider or 911
- •Sudden severe pain that is not controlled by breakthrough medication
- •Difficulty breathing that is new or worsening
- •Uncontrolled bleeding
- •Agitation that puts the patient or others at risk of harm
- •New inability to swallow medications
- •Contact your palliative care team for any concerning changes
