What is CANCIDAS used for?
- Empirical therapy for presumed fungal infections in febrile neutropenic patients
- Treatment of candidemia, invasive candidiasis, esophageal candidiasis, and intra-abdominal Candida infections
- Treatment of invasive aspergillosis in patients who are refractory to or intolerant of other antifungal therapies

Elevated liver enzymes
Fever
Nausea
Phlebitis at infusion site

Caspofungin Acetate warnings & precautions
- Hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylaxis have been reported; discontinue immediately if a serious reaction occurs.
- Monitor liver function tests; concurrent use with cyclosporine may significantly elevate liver enzymes.
