What is Adenosine used for?
- Conversion of supraventricular tachycardia to sinus rhythm.
- Used as an adjunct to thallium-201 myocardial perfusion scintigraphy in patients unable to exercise adequately.

ADENOSINE side effects
The following side effects have been reported for ADENOSINE. Their order does not indicate how often an effect occurs.
Facial flushing.
Shortness of breath and dyspnea.

ADENOSINE warnings & precautions
- Do not administer in patients with second- or third-degree AV block or sick sinus syndrome without a pacemaker.
