    Day 1-21

    Monitoring & Recovery

    • Attend all lab appointments to monitor treatment response
    • Viral load and CD4 count are key markers; your team will track these
    • Practice good hand hygiene and infection prevention
    • Report any fever, new symptoms, or worsening condition immediately

    When to call your provider or 911

    • •High fever (above 102°F) or chills/rigors
    • •Severe allergic reaction to medication
    • •IV/PICC line: redness, swelling, pain, or fever (line infection)
    • •Rapidly worsening symptoms despite treatment
    • •New rash, confusion, or difficulty breathing

    When in doubt, call your clinic. For a medical emergency, call 911.
